SPECIAL NOTE: NO MATTER WHAT YOUR CALORIC RANGE, ALL MENUS CAN BE USED. SIMPLY ADD OR SUBTRACT FOOD ITEMS UNTIL
THE MENU MEETS YOUR DAILY CALORIC NEED. But again, food menus should only be used as guidelines for daily caloric intake;
they should not to be used in place of special diets for health ailments (i.e., diabetes, hypertension, food allergies,
etc.) And as always, consult your physician before you begin any weight reduction program. One of your goals during your health and weight loss process should be to include the recommended amount of fruit and vegetables daily. Keep that in mind when you shop and plan your meals. Maintaining health and proper nutrition are a vital part of any successful weight-loss program. Whenever possible, we recommend that you consume whole, organic, natural foods. However, due to societies increasing need to consume fast food, not all menus reflect whole, organic, natural foods; some simply offer better choices for fast-food stops and when dining out. The bottom of each menu lists the total caloric content as well as the carbohydrate, fat and protein ratio. Once you find the menus that best meet your recommended daily intake, simply print it out and begin your program. Menus are designed to help you stay within your recommended daily caloric intake goal. Balance, moderation, and healthy choices are essential. Weight-loss is a process. Expect to make mistakes, but don't give up. But if you fall-fall forward! Some foods listed such as Soy or egg whites may seem foreign and far from 'mainstream'. Remember, our goal is to learn to use healthy foods, and in time, learn to substitute some for others. Don't be discouraged there are plenty of 'mainstream' foods that are healthy. Here are a few of our available menus. We will be adding more weekly, so please check back often. If your not sure which menu to choose, please use our Calorie Calculator as a guide, to determine how many calories you should consume to lose or maintain your weight. |
